Lancome Rouge In Love Lipstick 159B Review+Swatches

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm reviewing"Lancome Rouge In Love Lipstick 159B" . Actually its not a full size one. I got this free with the purchase of a perfume from Lancome counter.

My Experience:
I totally love this lipstick and the name Rouge In Love. Its a bright red coral lipstick which Emma watson wears in lancome's ad as well. This color reminds me of beauty of the Snow white ahhhh well move on to the topic :D. It glides on my lips like butter. Its one of the lipsticks shades which I love to wear in fall time and parties. It really moisturize my lips during the dry weather & it wont look patchy at all. Its a very build able lipstick if you want a lil bit red on your lips than apply it once but if you want to make it more intense than apply 2 layers of this beautie. The lancome rouge in love 159B is highly pigmented. It has a long lasting power and glossy effect so I don't need to apply lip gloss over it.

Application:
If you want to make your lipstick long lasting then apply lipstick direct from the tube or you can apply with a lip brush than place a tissue paper on your lips, then apply some loose face powder over it now take the tissue paper off and apply another layer of lipstick. With this technique your lipstick will be long lasting.

  Swatches:

Thumbs Up:
  • Glides smoothly
  • Stays on lips around 5 to 6 hours
  • Has a glossy effect
  • Moisturize perfectly
  • Comes in a chic silver tube
Thumbs Down:

  • pricey

Texture:
Creamy/ buttery

Quantity:
4.ml

My Rating:
5/5

Price:
$30 for full size

Availability:
Sephora, Fifty one East & Debanhams

Would I Repurchase It?
Yes!

Have you tried Lancome's Rouge In love Collection ? Which are your favourite shades from this line, let me know with your comments below :)

Cute Halloween Monsters (NOTD)

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here with a fun post, NOTD for Halloween called "Cute Halloween Monsters". As you all know that the Halloween is only a month away and I thought to try some NOTD post. Its super simple & easy to do so lets get started :D

Things you will need:
  1. Boots base coat
  2. Max factor Top coat
  3. Revlon nail enamel in "Posh"
  4. Maybelline nail enamel in "Cool Blue".
  5. Color studio nail paint in "Pretty in pink".
  6. Color Studio nail paint in "Black pearl".
  7. Flormar nail paint in .white".
  8. St nail paint in "1125 Pale yellow".
  9.  Toothpicks
  10. Q-tip (cotton buds)
  11. Nail remover
  12. Sewing pins

Step By Step:
  • Apply any nail paint of your choice as a base color for the monster's skin.
  • now make two 2 oval shape dots in black color, use back of a sewing pin. Like in pic 1.
  • Than make 2 white small dots inside the black dots for the monster eye with the small sewing pin. See pic 2. You can have them anywhere, I am just showing you how i did it, make em cute and crazy :P
  • Now draw two lil black dots as monster's nose with the help of a toothpick. Toothpicks are very handy nail tools, you just need to make sure you buy ones with the right structure. After applying it, your nails should look like something in pic 3.
  • finally draw a line and than draw 2 or 3 vertical lines over it as monster's mouth with the help of a toothpick like pic 4 and apply top coat to seal everything.
  • last but not the least dip a Q-tip in a nail remover and clear any residue.
  • And voila now you're done :)
Its a versatile technique and you can draw alot of creative things with this equipment which is easily available in the house, and there is absolutely no need to invest in nail art tools. Nail art tools are nice to have, but as it is art is creation, not practise

Here are the digitals of the stuff I used for creating my cute nail monsters, check out the first pic on the top.

                                                          Nail Paints for this NOTD
                                                                 Tools used to create monsters

In Qatar I could not find  the nail art tools, if you guys know where you got it from please share, or you can use some of home made tools, I must say these are very effective :P

Do you like this NOTD if yes than let me know with your comments and if you want me to do any specific NOTD post than tell me and I will try my best to share my ideas.

Thanks

Benefit they're Real Mascara Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm reviewing Benefit's they're real mascara. I had heard so many good things about this mascara and wanted to try this out, and finally here I am sharing with my readers my ideas:

My Experience:
I'm using this for couple of months and I'm loving it. This mascara lifts my lashes give them length and volumizes my lashes beautifully.

It make the lashes deep but keeps them separate. It last for whole day and there is no smudging & clumping at all :). It makes the lashes dramatic but at the same time I can use this on daily basis. It comes with a plastic wand & works wonder on my lashes. There is only one thing which I don't like about this mascara it is a lil bit hard to remove from lashes otherwise its really good as it says.

Application:
Curl your lashes  brush directly on your  upper & lower lashes gently. For more dramatic effects apply another layer.

Revlon Luxurious Color Perle Eyeshadow Black Galaxy Review+Swatches

Hello Everyone.

Today I'm reviewing "Revlon Luxurious Color Perle Eyeshadow in Black Galaxy". Its a gorgeous black shimmery color and it comes in a see through plastic pan with a sponge applicator which is very helpful to apply eyeshadow on your lids. It is also a dupe for urban decay. I got this as a buy 2 get 1 free offer so I think its a great bargain and a good product to keep in stock.

My Experience:
Pigmentation of the eyeshadow is a super wow factor. It blends easily and has a smooth texture. The tiny glitters are like a cherry on the top. Its not too dark, its more towards graphite black color. If I'm heading for a party and want my eye makeup bold then I would wear this shadow, it has that party thing about it. The glitters are very subtle not chunky at all so don't worry for the fall out. This also looks great on top of my eyeliner.

Application:
Apply a eyeshadow base or primer to make your shadow more vibrant, long lasting & crease less.

                                      Comes with a sponge applicator
