OOTD: Knit Winter

Hello Everyone,

A few days before I am writing this, me and hubby went on a short holiday trip from Riyadh to Khobar, it is a beautiful place. I saw many things on highway like red sand, I have never seen red sand before and the black and white camels strolling everywhere in the desert. The cool breeze on highway was refreshing :)

Well here I'm wearing a knit dress which is warm and comfy for this weather and the white and blue
print gives it a wintery look. I paired my dress with some black tights and for that pop of color I'm wearing these red boots which are my new favourites for this winter season. I want to make this look simple but at the same time I also want to glam up a lil bit, so here I'm wearing my blue Jewel ring bracelet which I bought a year ago from Qatar and still in love with it.  For my makeup I'm keeping the rest of my face subtle and wearing this gorgeous red lipstick to add some extra glamour in my look. Last but not the least I wear these cute cube shaped earrings to complete my look.

M.A.C Rebel lipsstick Review and Swatch

Hello Everyone,

Its winter time everyone loves to wear bold colors so  I bought "Rebel" from M.A.C a couple of weeks ago. Its a perfect burgundy maroon shade which I was looking for so long and let me tell you I'm totally in love with it.

Well I wanted to buy few shades more but at the time they don't have it instock.

My Experience:
Its the perfect shade for this time of year. It has satin finish in it so looks a lil bit glossy. Its a gorgeous burgundy maroon color with some blue undertone. I just love the pigmentation it has, you only need a little touch of it and it goes a long way.

It lasts for 4 to 5 hours which is a good thing. Whenever I'm feeling to wear it a lil bit lighter than I just apply at the centre of my lips and dab it with my fingers to spread it all the way for a softer hint of the color, and whenever I'm in mood of  make it dark I usually use the lipstick from the  tube directly. Its not drying on my lips at all. I use this lipstick while I'm wearing a light eye makeup and a dark lip combo and I also love to wear it with dark lips and dark eye makeup for that dramatic bold look. It looks good on all skin tones and a must have for this winter season.

Application:
Apply lipstick directly from tube or you can use a brush as well. After you done with the application, take a synthetic brush dip it into foundation or you can use a concealer as well and than clean the areas around your lips for a polished look.

Tip Of the day:
If you want to make your lipstick matte than just dab some loose powder over it and tada now you have super matte lips :)

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlihting Concealer Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm reviewing Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in shade 02 beige nude. It comes in a rectable pen kind of packaging with golden font writing on it. Being an allergic person I always struggle with the dark circles so to cover up I'm always in a hunt to find a good concealer and give me a nice brighter look. And after hearing so many mix reviews about this concealer+highlighter I decided to try this out. It comes in many shades to choose from so lets scroll down to read my experience about it ^_^.

My Experience:
I'm a serious concealer freak and I love to try out concealers from all the high ends and drugstore ones. I got this concealer in shade 02 Nude Beige which is a tad lighter than my skin and perfect to highlight the areas of my face I want. Its very light texture blends easily too. Whenever I have to brighten up my face instantly I just grab this baby and apply it on the areas of my skin those I want to highlight or I want to brighten up within a seconds.

It has light coverage, I use it under my eye, bridge of my nose, my forehead, my cupid bow and on my chin. I can use it on daily basis when i need a light coverage+highlighting effect. But when I'm going out for get together or on date and I need a lil bit extra coverage than I first apply a concealer which has medium to full coverage to hide my dark circles almost completely and after that I put this on top of it to highlight the area. so for me its a good stuff for highlighting my face with a light coverage.

Application:
Twist it up a few times and your product will come from this pen and than draw a triangle shape around your dark circles and then blend it with a brush or sponge and you can use your fingers as well.

Swatch:

Thumbs Up:
  • Highlights the uneven areas of your face instantly
  • Comes in rectable pen
  • Buildable
Thumbs Down:

  • Light coverage
  • Runs out quickly

Texture:
Creamy

e.l.f Studio Blush In Twinkle Pink Review+Swatches

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm gonna talk about this beautiful blush by elf cosmetics which is  called "Twinkle Pink".
There are eleven shades to choose from.
It comes in a hard black plastic packaging along with a little mirror inside. It does not have a mirror which means you are getting lots of product inside. E.l.f cosmetics comes with many good products with such a reasonable price tag so lets see does it work for me or not ?

My Experience:
Its a coral peachy color with some gold glitter particles. I love the pigmentation and it only needs a dab of brush and bang I get a gorgeous color payoff. I love the staying power of this blush it last for hours. The blush smoothly blends on skin and does not leave a powdery or chalky feeling but the only downside is the gold particles which are a lil bit chunky and fell off, to fix that make sure when you apply this on your cheeks nicely dab your brush on back of your hand before applying it on your face.

It gives me a glowy highlighted effect which I really liked. It looks great on every skin tone..  The e.l.f studio line blushes came in many shades with a economical price tag which you guys gonna love it

Application:
Load your brush into the blush than dab a lil bit on the back of your hand and apply it on the your cheeks or the other area of your face where you want some glow.

Swatch:

Thumbs Up:
  • Gorgeous color
  • Smooth texture

Taylor Swift "Blank Space" Inspired Makeup Look

Hello Everyone,

Today I will do a celebrity inspired look, I have been planning to do one for some time. I took up Taylor Swift new song 'Blank Space' insppired makeup look where she is looking absolutely amazing.
In this video she is playing a girl role who is insane, crazy and jealous lolx :P

In this makeup video she is wearing her signature lip color which is red with some glossy finish in it and a long black cat eyeliner flick. I know I'm not blonde, I don't have blue eyes though but I'm still doing this look because I just adore her she is so pretty. This look is great for winter time and you can wear this look at dinner date, party and clubbing as well. I have enlisted the products I have used and steps for the everyone's ease :)

Products Used For Face:
  • Benefit Porefessional primer click Here for review
  • Chanel lumiere long lasting foundation click Here for review
  • Pond BB cream click Here
  • M.A.C minerlize skin finish in "Medium Plus"
  • Maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer in shade nude beige
  • Maybelline Fit me concealer in shade 20
  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer
  • Kiss Beauty Baked blush in shade
  • Benefit High Beam
  • Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in medium brown

Products Used For Eyes:
  • Naked 1 (Urban Decay)
  • Chaos shade from Vice 1 by urban decay click Here
  • Makeup Revolution Eyeliner in Extra Black
  • Benefit They're real mascara click Here
  • Pair of false lashes

Products used for lips:

  • DMGM photo fix lip liner in shade "Plum Frost"
  • Mac Russian Red lipstick
  • Nyx lipgloss in shade "Perfect Red"

Step By Step Instructions:
  1. As you know Taylor has a lighter skin than me and in this video she has a semi dewy skin so here I mix my Chanel lumiere long lasting foundation which is a matte with my ponds BB cream to get the perfect semi dewy skin.
  2. After that I'm going to take a concealer in shade beige and apply it on my under eyes to hide those bad dark circles and than layer it with my maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer to highlight my face, so I put it under my eye, bridge of my nose, my chin, and forehead and blend it.
  3. After that I dust my face with M.A.C minerlize skin finish in medium plus to set everything at place.
  4. Its time to fill in my brows so here I take medium brown eyebrow pencil and apply small strokes to fill my brows in and take a synthetic brush dip in my concealer and than clean the edges of my eyebrows.
  5. Now I'm priming my eyes and dipping my brush into sin (which is a champagne color ) and applying it on my entire eyelid and then taking a silver metallic color (gunmetal) and then place it on my outer v and drag it to the crease line and blend it well and with this I add a hint of blue color (chaos) on the outer v and crease and again blend it nicely so the metallic and blue color mix together very well.
  6. Use the same metallic silver color and apply it to your lower lash line and highlight your inner corners with the same champagne color.
  7. Than draw a thin line with your favourite black eyeliner and drag it to the outwards and make it a lil bit longer than your usual liner flick like Taylor, and by the way you will never go wrong with a long flick.
  8. After that its time to use some falsies, here I take a false lash and equally cut it in two sections and than apply it over my natural lashes with the help of a small tweezers.
  9. After my lashes dry out completely now its time to have some mascara so apply a generous coat of your fav black  mascara and yeah we we are done with our eyes.
  10. Last but not the least I just line my lips with a lip liner and dab my fav red color from M.A.C which is "Russian Red" on the centre of my lips and top it of with Nyx "Perfect Red" Gloss for that shiny effect like Taylor have in her new video.
  11. voila we are done now .

Let me know how did you find this Taylor Swift inspired makeup look? share your thoughts  <3

L'oreal Perfect Clean Foaming Gel Wash "Refreshing" Review

Hello everyone,

Today I'm  reviewing  "Lorea'l perfect clean Foaming Gel wash". If you are a person who likes to  explores new things and try out new products than check this out . It comes in a aqua transparent packaging along with a cleansing scrubber pad. You can hang this scrublet on your mirror or wall as well :D You can find this in every skin type like oily skin, sensitive skin as well. But as I have combination skin so I bought this in Normal/combination skin.

My experience:
Having a combination skin I get oil rather quickly on my T-zone area and when I saw a scrubber with this face wash I thought it would be really interesting. The gel kind of formula is really light on skin with a refreshing aroma. I just poped out my scrubber from its bottle and place a small amount of this face wash on it gently run this over my face and bang my face looks so refresh and clear.  I use this 3 times a day, in morning when I wake up in afternoon and in night before I'm going to bed.  I really like this face wash but more than this I love its scrubber pad, It run over my skin smoothly and clean almost all the dirt and oil from my face. Only a lil goes in a long way and it almost lasts for 2 and half months which is really good I guess. The only down side of this is it makes my skin dry somehow so for that after washing my face I always use my moisturizer to keep my skin soft and moist all day long. And after finishing my face wash I'm not going to through this scrubber pad away I'll use it as long as I can.

Application:
Pour the face Wash on the scrublet and gently massage into your skin or apply the face wash direct on your wet face with your hands and than take your scrubber pad message with it. Place your scrubber pad into your 2nd and middle finger and massage on your face with circular motion and then rinse it off with the water.

Thumbs Up:
  • Remove dirt and oil from face
  • Comes with a scrubber pad
  • Gives you a refreshing feeling
  • See through packaging

Thumbs Down:

  • My skin gets drier

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm reviewing "Chanel Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup in shade 30 Beige".
It comes in a glass bottle with a pump which makes so easy to get the right amount. The packaging is classy and the Chanel logo on the top of the cap makes it more beautiful. It has two powders in it, the hemispherical powders which is a transparent one and the other one is coated with mineral ceramic pigments which is a perfect light control complex. It gives you a perfect balance and correction of light. It comes with the less SPF which protects your face from sun and you look great in your pictures too.

My Experience:
I'm not into foundations allot, usually I wear BB creams at daily basis. But after finishing my Revlon color stay foundation and I give it a try.

I have combination skin and as you know the weather is changing its almost winter here in Riyadh so my skin becomes very dry, I use my moisturizer before applying this foundation. The texture is liquildy and it set on skin really quick with a matte finish. Only two pumps are enough to cover up my whole face. It  has medium to full coverage and It cover any redness, blemishes or spots I have on my face. It is weightless and looks naturally flawless on skin with  its long lasting effect. The light and fluid texture glides on my face smoothly. This foundation is buildable so whenever I want some extra coverage I just put another layer of it and yeah I'm good to go. It literally last for whole day which you gonna love about it.

e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream In St. Lucia Review+Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm sharing my experience about this "e.l.f Contouring Blush" and bronzing cream in
"St. Lucia".  e.l.f products are not locally available in Pakistan so I ordered this duo from an online selling page called "Beautyinbudget4u".  I got this in cream form instead of powder, because I already have some blushes and contour powders so thought to try this one as well. It comes in a sleek black pan duo with mirror inside.

My Experience:

Nowadays contouring is at its high peak and everyone want to contour to enhance the features. With this duo palette you can not only contour your face but you can also add some color to your cheeks with its cream blush which is a big add to its functionality. Both shades are gorgeous the one on the left is peachy pink and the other one is a beautiful brown shade which is perfect for contouring.

The texture is so rich and creamy with a soft frangrance. I only need a lil dab of brush and I'm good to go. Its creamy texture blends very easily on skin and you can achieve a bronze goddess look with this baby. It comes with great pigmentation with no shimmer added.

It lasts for 3 to 4 hours which is great for this budget friendly product which comes with two shades with a reasonable price tag so its not heavy on pocket too. If you are looking for a contour and blush in cream form than just go and grab this.

Application:
Take this brown (contour) shade and make a duck face so you can see your hairline and than put it there and than just blend it well to get the perfect sculpted cheekbones.

Swatches:

  • Great Pigmentation
  • Rich formula
