Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlihting Concealer Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm reviewing Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in shade 02 beige nude. It comes in a rectable pen kind of packaging with golden font writing on it. Being an allergic person I always struggle with the dark circles so to cover up I'm always in a hunt to find a good concealer and give me a nice brighter look. And after hearing so many mix reviews about this concealer+highlighter I decided to try this out. It comes in many shades to choose from so lets scroll down to read my experience about it ^_^.

My Experience:
I'm a serious concealer freak and I love to try out concealers from all the high ends and drugstore ones. I got this concealer in shade 02 Nude Beige which is a tad lighter than my skin and perfect to highlight the areas of my face I want. Its very light texture blends easily too. Whenever I have to brighten up my face instantly I just grab this baby and apply it on the areas of my skin those I want to highlight or I want to brighten up within a seconds.

It has light coverage, I use it under my eye, bridge of my nose, my forehead, my cupid bow and on my chin. I can use it on daily basis when i need a light coverage+highlighting effect. But when I'm going out for get together or on date and I need a lil bit extra coverage than I first apply a concealer which has medium to full coverage to hide my dark circles almost completely and after that I put this on top of it to highlight the area. so for me its a good stuff for highlighting my face with a light coverage.

Application:
Twist it up a few times and your product will come from this pen and than draw a triangle shape around your dark circles and then blend it with a brush or sponge and you can use your fingers as well.

e.l.f Studio Blush In Twinkle Pink Review+Swatches

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm gonna talk about this beautiful blush by elf cosmetics which is  called "Twinkle Pink".
There are eleven shades to choose from.
It comes in a hard black plastic packaging along with a little mirror inside. It does not have a mirror which means you are getting lots of product inside. E.l.f cosmetics comes with many good products with such a reasonable price tag so lets see does it work for me or not ?

My Experience:
Its a coral peachy color with some gold glitter particles. I love the pigmentation and it only needs a dab of brush and bang I get a gorgeous color payoff. I love the staying power of this blush it last for hours. The blush smoothly blends on skin and does not leave a powdery or chalky feeling but the only downside is the gold particles which are a lil bit chunky and fell off, to fix that make sure when you apply this on your cheeks nicely dab your brush on back of your hand before applying it on your face.

It gives me a glowy highlighted effect which I really liked. It looks great on every skin tone..  The e.l.f studio line blushes came in many shades with a economical price tag which you guys gonna love it

Application:
Load your brush into the blush than dab a lil bit on the back of your hand and apply it on the your cheeks or the other area of your face where you want some glow.

Taylor Swift "Blank Space" Inspired Makeup Look

Hello Everyone,

Today I will do a celebrity inspired look, I have been planning to do one for some time. I took up Taylor Swift new song 'Blank Space' insppired makeup look where she is looking absolutely amazing.
In this video she is playing a girl role who is insane, crazy and jealous lolx :P

In this makeup video she is wearing her signature lip color which is red with some glossy finish in it and a long black cat eyeliner flick. I know I'm not blonde, I don't have blue eyes though but I'm still doing this look because I just adore her she is so pretty. This look is great for winter time and you can wear this look at dinner date, party and clubbing as well. I have enlisted the products I have used and steps for the everyone's ease :)

Products Used For Face:
  • Benefit Porefessional primer click Here for review
  • Chanel lumiere long lasting foundation click Here for review
  • Pond BB cream click Here
  • M.A.C minerlize skin finish in "Medium Plus"
  • Maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer in shade nude beige
  • Maybelline Fit me concealer in shade 20
  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer
  • Kiss Beauty Baked blush in shade
  • Benefit High Beam
  • Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in medium brown

Products Used For Eyes:
  • Naked 1 (Urban Decay)
  • Chaos shade from Vice 1 by urban decay click Here
  • Makeup Revolution Eyeliner in Extra Black
  • Benefit They're real mascara click Here
  • Pair of false lashes

Products used for lips:

  • DMGM photo fix lip liner in shade "Plum Frost"
  • Mac Russian Red lipstick
  • Nyx lipgloss in shade "Perfect Red"

Step By Step Instructions:
  1. As you know Taylor has a lighter skin than me and in this video she has a semi dewy skin so here I mix my Chanel lumiere long lasting foundation which is a matte with my ponds BB cream to get the perfect semi dewy skin.
  2. After that I'm going to take a concealer in shade beige and apply it on my under eyes to hide those bad dark circles and than layer it with my maybelline dream lumi touch highlighting concealer to highlight my face, so I put it under my eye, bridge of my nose, my chin, and forehead and blend it.
  3. After that I dust my face with M.A.C minerlize skin finish in medium plus to set everything at place.
  4. Its time to fill in my brows so here I take medium brown eyebrow pencil and apply small strokes to fill my brows in and take a synthetic brush dip in my concealer and than clean the edges of my eyebrows.
  5. Now I'm priming my eyes and dipping my brush into sin (which is a champagne color ) and applying it on my entire eyelid and then taking a silver metallic color (gunmetal) and then place it on my outer v and drag it to the crease line and blend it well and with this I add a hint of blue color (chaos) on the outer v and crease and again blend it nicely so the metallic and blue color mix together very well.
  6. Use the same metallic silver color and apply it to your lower lash line and highlight your inner corners with the same champagne color.
  7. Than draw a thin line with your favourite black eyeliner and drag it to the outwards and make it a lil bit longer than your usual liner flick like Taylor, and by the way you will never go wrong with a long flick.
  8. After that its time to use some falsies, here I take a false lash and equally cut it in two sections and than apply it over my natural lashes with the help of a small tweezers.
  9. After my lashes dry out completely now its time to have some mascara so apply a generous coat of your fav black  mascara and yeah we we are done with our eyes.
  10. Last but not the least I just line my lips with a lip liner and dab my fav red color from M.A.C which is "Russian Red" on the centre of my lips and top it of with Nyx "Perfect Red" Gloss for that shiny effect like Taylor have in her new video.
  11. voila we are done now .

Let me know how did you find this Taylor Swift inspired makeup look? share your thoughts  <3

Cheers!
